About
We are a Cape Town-based service production company. When global agencies and brands shoot in South Africa, we handle everything on the ground: crew, locations, logistics, permits, and casting, so your team can focus entirely on the work.
From oceans and mountains to desert roads, dense forests and modern architecture, often all within a few hours, South Africa offers an unmatched range of locations shaped by scale, texture and atmosphere.
And then there's the light.
Clear, cinematic and constantly changing, it's one of the reasons filmmakers from around the world continue to shoot here.
WithMilk Films has been producing international commercial work in South Africa for over a decade. We've partnered with agencies and production companies from the Netherlands, UK, Germany, Belgium and the US on campaigns for BMW, Audi, Volkswagen, Coca-Cola, Intel, Mastercard, Samsung, and more.
Brands We've Worked With
South Africa
From ocean to desert, city to wilderness. Every landscape within reach of a single production base.

Cape Peninsula
Ocean, mountain, city. The most versatile filming location on the continent.
The location
Cape Town sits at the confluence of the Atlantic and Indian Oceans, with Table Mountain rising a thousand metres directly behind the city centre. It is one of the most geographically concentrated filming destinations in the world.
Within sixty minutes of our production office you can be on pristine Atlantic beaches with white sand and turquoise water, dramatic coastal cliffs where waves crash against ancient rock, winding mountain passes with hairpin bends that automotive directors love, the historic Winelands with Cape Dutch architecture dating back three centuries, or the edge of the semi-desert Karoo.
The light here is what brings cinematographers back. Clear, directional, and remarkably consistent. Golden hour stretches longer than European crews expect. The air is clean enough that distant mountains stay sharp in frame. It is a city built for the camera.
Best for
Practical
Cape Town International Airport, 25 min to city centre. Full crew and equipment base with experienced English-speaking technicians. City of Cape Town Film Permit Office handles all municipal locations. Best weather: October to April, though winter offers moody skies and green landscapes.
